NEMO Area Camporee

On the weekend of September 14-16, the Aviators went to the North-Eastern Missouri Fall Camporee. This was a time for us to camp out, meet and re-meet friends, listen to an inspirational speaker, and burn cinnamon rolls over a smoking fire.

First things first: setting up Camp

On Sabbath afternoon, the Pathfinders participated in a Health Walk. They would visit a station for 5-10 minutes. Each station would present for the Pathfinders' experience some part of health, like exercise or healthy eating habits.

Saturday night, the Pathfinders had an investiture service. This included an overview of the Pathfinder Pledge and Law. For our TLTs, this was the third investiture in two weeks.
By the grace of God, I will be pure, kind, and true. I will keep the Pathfinder Law. I will be a servant of God and a friend to man.

The Pathfinder Law is for me to:
Keep the morning watch
Do my honest part
Care for my Body
Keep a level eye
Be courteous and obedient
Walk softly in the sanctuary
Keep a song in my heart
Go on God's errands
All the invested Pathfinders

We all had a good time on the Campout and we're looking forward to Spring Camporee!
